Hidden, concealed, forgotten? Get to know extraordinary works by known and unknown protagonists: Objects, paintings, sketches, sculptures, texts, photographs and concepts that were previously hidden away in a drawer and are now seeing the light of day for the first time. On display, for example, is Reinhold Messner's sketchbook with drawings, photographs and texts. Untouched, this sketchbook was forgotten in a drawer for 34 years.

Why are these works in a drawer? Why were they not published? Why were they concealed, hidden, perhaps even thrown away? When is an artistic work complete? Why does the successful artist Erwin Wurm have doubts about some of his works? What emotions does the dancer in Bianca Bauer express in her choreographies, and which ones does she deliberately hide from the audience?

Answers to these questions and many other individual motivations and exciting insights are provided by the conversations with 14 personalities, which can be listened to and experienced using multimedia in the immersive exhibition space. And there is also a special treasure hidden in this room: the aforementioned 14 drawer works.
