FROM MIND TO SOUL – GLASS

Glass is a material that has always fueled the imagination, inspired, and enchanted. It stands for clarity, transparency, but also fragility and vulnerability. Glass evokes emotions, both in the artist during the creation of an object and in the viewer of the finished artwork. In 2014, artists from all over Bavaria who work with glass formed the association GLASHEIMAT BAYERN e. V. to bring contemporary glass art more into public awareness. All members of the association are professional artists. Passion and vision meet craftsmanship and skill, coupled with the will to seek new forms of expression. UNESCO also acknowledges manual glass production, having declared it an intangible cultural heritage of humanity at the end of 2023.
