Ursula Jüngst: AUF(ER)STEHEN
05.04. – 13.07.2025
In the paintings of Ursula Jüngst (born 1965), the bright, strong colours immediately catch the eye. With her distinctive brushwork and the controlled-spontaneous colour gradients as a means of expression, she has carved out a unique position for herself in the contemporary art scene. The canvas is her experimental field, where she uses artistic means to address existential questions of our time. She is highly creative in her use of materials. She manages to portray emotions in an expressively lyrical way while simultaneously capturing them in a universally valid visual form. This results in paintings rich in feeling, captivating the viewers.
